The device has a two-line display with the ability to synthesize sound. Equipped with discrete inputs / outputs. Customized modifications of the device with a choice of number of discrete and analog outputs are also possible. It has built-in RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces. It has a real-time clock. Supported protocols ARIES, GateWay, Modbus RTU, Modbus ASCII.

In addition to the standard CODESYS libraries, a proprietary library of OWEN function blocks is supplied free of charge: a control block for 3-position valves, a PID controller with automatic tuning and others. Expandable by connecting additional I / O modules. The number of discrete outputs can be increased by connecting a standard OWEN MP1 module.

The OWEN PLC63 device is based on a 32-bit 50MHz RISC processor on an ARM7 core. It has 10 KB of RAM, 280 KB for programs. The I/O memory capacity is 600 bytes for PLC63-M and 360 bytes for PLC63-L. Non-volatile flash memory 448 KB. The real-time clock can work independently for 3 months without external power.

The device is mounted on a DIN rail and has an IP20 housing. Both DC and AC voltages are suitable for powering the controller — from 150 to 300V DC, or from 90 to 264V AC. Power consumption does not exceed 12 W for DC power and no more than 18 W for AC power. It has a built-in secondary power supply with an output of 24 volts and a current of no more than 180mA.

The 2×16 text monochrome LCD display is backlit. For control — a keyboard with 6 buttons: «Start / Stop», «Enter», «Exit», «Alt», «Down», «Up». Communication interfaces: DEBUG RS-232 (RJ-11), RS-485. Protocols: ARIES, GateWay (CODESYS protocol), Modbus RTU / ASCII.

The OWEN PLC63 device has 8 universal analog outputs for connecting signal sensors, such as: thermocouple, current signals, thermal resistance, voltage sensors, resistance. Discrete inputs 8, with group galvanic isolation, capable of supplying a signal with a maximum frequency of 50 Hz and a duty cycle of 2.

There are 6 output elements, one of which is an electromagnetic relay 4A 220V, the remaining 5 may differ in modifications: R — e / m relay 4A 220V; I — DAC 4 … 20mA; U — DAC 0 … 10V (active). The number of pins can be expanded via the internal bus up to 8 using the standard MP1 expansion module.

OWEN PLC63 has already been successfully implemented, for example, at the Altai Transformer Plant, where thanks to OWEN PLC63 the oil transfer system was modernized, which received the functionality and flexibility of a distributed control system. The OWEN PLC73 device has some similarities with the OWEN PLC63, but externally it is made in a panel box with an IP55 degree of protection and is complemented by 6 LED indicators on the front panel. The keyboard now has 9 buttons instead of 6, and the display is four-line 4x16. Two interfaces are optional: 1st interface-RS-485, RS-232 or absent; 2nd interface-RS-485, RS-232 or absent. Interfaces interact in Master, Slave modes.

OWEN PLC73 analog inputs correspond to OWEN PLC63, discrete inputs provide the ability to connect sensors with dry contact outputs, pnp and npn transistor, while the frequency is limited to 15Hz with a duty cycle of 0.5. The discrete inputs are powered by 24V. Outputs correspond to OWEN PLC63, 4 of them have the possibility to install DAC. CODESYS 2.3 programming environment (version 2.3.8.1 and earlier).

OWEN PLK73 has been successfully implemented, for example, by PROEKT-P to increase production efficiency and reduce operating costs by optimizing the control system of two tanks and a washing station at the Kargopolsky dairy plant in Arkhangelsk region. Also based on the OWEN PLK73, a curd control panel of the dairy plant was developed.

The OWEN PLC100 device is intended for the management of medium and small objects and for the construction of dispatching systems. The device has a compact housing for mounting on a DIN rail, discrete inputs / outputs with convenient mounting, as well as serial ports (RS-232, RS-485) and Ethernet. Each of the built-in interfaces allows you to expand the number of I / O points by connecting external modules. The power supply is carried out either by alternating current with a voltage of 220V, or by constant 24V.

In addition to the OWEN PLC100, the series also includes the PLC150 and PLC154, which differ in the number of discrete inputs: 8, 6 and 4 respectively; and the type of discrete outputs, relays and double transistor switches (12 signal outputs in total), with the ability to switch currents up to 2A.
