Warning posters in electrical installations
Warning posters in electrical installations are intended:
-
to warn both the personnel servicing electrical installations and outsiders about the danger of approaching equipment and parts of electrical installations that are under voltage,
-
to prohibit the operation of switching devices if they can supply voltage to equipment on which people work,
-
to indicate the place prepared for the production of work,
-
to remind you of the safety measures taken.
In accordance with the purpose, placards in electrical installations are divided into:
-
attention
-
forbidding
-
permissive
-
a reminder.
By the nature of their use, posters can be permanent or stationary (posters are attached to structures, structures, equipment) and portable (posters are transferred and installed as needed on different equipment).
Permanent placards in electrical installations are made of sheet steel or plastic materials and should be weatherproof and not require replacement for as long as possible. The surface of the posters is covered with enamel paint, which is used both for the background and for the drawing and inscriptions on the poster.
Portable placards are made of insulating or poorly conductive material (plastic, cardboard, wood) because they are installed directly on the equipment and can accidentally fall on live parts.
Portable posters are supplied with fixtures for fixing them at the installation site.
Warning posters in electrical installations
High Voltage Placard - Dangerous to Life... This placard is for permanent use only and is affixed or affixed to the outside of switchgear doors, switchgear and transformers, and on mesh or continuous enclosures of live parts with voltages above 1000 V, located in industrial premises, with the exception of distribution rooms.
Live - life danger poster... The poster is used as a permanent one and is hung on the doors of electrical installations with a voltage of up to 1000 V, on board fences with a voltage of up to 1000 V, etc.
Stop - High Voltage Placard... Used as a portable and hung in closed switchgear on permanent cage fences adjacent to and opposite the workplace, as well as on temporary fence boards. In open switchgear, it is suspended from rope barriers (when operating at ground level) and from switchgear structures around the workplace to block the path along girders and portals to adjacent cubicles.
In addition, the placard is suspended from the ends of the cable when testing with high voltage.
Stop - poster Dangerous to life... It is used as a portable in electrical installations with a voltage of up to 1000 V, it is hung on fences and structures, like the previous poster.
Poster "Do not enter - kill" ... It is used as a portable and is hung on the structures of open switchgear in the immediate vicinity of the one intended for lifting personnel when the workplace is located at height.
Prohibition placards are used only as portable:
"Do not turn on - people working" poster... It is hung on the control switches, handles and handles of switches and disconnectors, if they are turned on by mistake, voltage can be applied to the equipment that people are working on.
Do not turn on - Work online... It is hung on the control keys, handles and handles of line switch and disconnector drives, if they are turned on by mistake, voltage can be applied to the line where people are working.
Poster "Do not open - people work" ... It is hung on the valve handwheels of the air lines of switches and actuators, if, if the valve is opened by mistake, high pressure air can be released to the equipment taken out for repair, which people work on.
Permit placards are only used as portables:
"Work Here" poster... It is hung in the designated place of work, in a closed switchgear of a door with an open chamber or on an open mesh fence, or directly on equipment (switch, transformer, etc.), in an open switchgear of the place where personnel must enter a roped-off space (when working at ground level).
Enter here poster... It is hung on the structure (column) of the open switchgear, which ensures the safe ascent of personnel to the place of work located at a height - on the structures.
Reminder poster. There is only one portable: «Grounded»... It is hung on the handles or handwheels of the disconnectors, which, if turned on by mistake, can energize the grounded equipment.
All portable posters used on control panels have been reduced in size.
