Safety posters and signs
Posters and safety signs are used to warn of the danger of electric shock, to prohibit contacts with switching equipment, to determine the place of work, etc. Posters are portable and are divided into warning, prohibitive, prescriptive and indicative. Signs are made permanent.
Warning signs serve to warn of the danger of approaching live parts that are live. The dimensions of these posters are 280×210 mm.
Poster "Stop. Voltage» serves to warn of the danger of electric shock. It is used in electrical installations of power plants and substations with a voltage of up to and above 1000 V. In switchgear indoors, it is hung on temporary fences from live parts that are under working voltage (if the permanent fence is removed); of temporary barriers at passages where you cannot enter; on permanent camera enclosures in close proximity to the workplace. In the outdoor switchgear, the placards are suspended during work done from the ground on ropes and cords that surround the workplace; on structures near the workplace on the way to the nearest live parts that are live.
The poster "It doesn't fit. It will kill! » serves to warn of the danger of lifting on structures where it is possible to approach live parts that are live. They are suspended in the distribution device of adjacent structures, intended for lifting personnel to a workplace located at a height.
Poster "Test. Life-threatening» serves to warn of the danger of electric shock when conducting tests with increased voltage. It is hung with an inscription on the equipment and fences of live parts when preparing a workplace for high voltage tests.
Prohibition placards serve to prohibit actions with switching devices, in case of incorrect switching on which voltage can be applied to the place of work. The posters are made with dimensions of 240×130 (80×50) mm.
"Do not include" poster. People work » serves to prohibit the supply of voltage to the workplace. It is used in electrical installations with a voltage up to and above 1000 V. The poster is hung on the drives of disconnectors, dividers and load switches, on switches and buttons for remote control, on switching equipment up to 1000 V (machines, automatic circuit breakers, switches), if they are turned on by mistake, stress can be experienced in the workplace. For connections with a voltage of up to 1000 V, which do not have switching devices in the circuit, the placard is hung on the removed fuses.
"Do not include" poster. Work on the line » serves to prohibit the supply of voltage to the line on which people are working. The application area is the same as the previous one, but they are hung on the devices, switches and control buttons of these switching devices, if they are turned on by mistake, the voltage can be applied to the overhead or cable line on which people work.
Do not open poster. People work » serves to inhibit the supply of compressed air or gas. It is used in electrical installations of power plants and substations. It is hung on the valves and valves: air ducts to air collectors and pneumatic actuators of switches and disconnectors, in case of incorrect opening, compressed air can be supplied to working people or a switch or disconnector on which people are working activated; hydrogen, carbon dioxide and other pipelines, if they are opened incorrectly, there can be a danger to working people.
Prescription placards serve to indicate working personnel to a place prepared for work or to safe access to it. These posters are made in 250×250 and 100×100 mm sizes.
A "Work here" poster serves to indicate the workplace. It is used in electrical installations of power plants and substations. He is hooked on the workplace. In outdoor distribution devices, in the presence of fences in the workplace, they are hung at the place of the passage behind the fence.
Sign in here placard serves to indicate a safe lifting path to a work station located at height. It is suspended on structures or stationary ladders, on which it is allowed to climb to a workplace located at a height.
Indicator "Grounded" indicates the inadmissibility of supply voltage to the grounded part of the electrical installation. Its dimensions are 240x130 and 80x50 mm. It is suspended in electrical installations of power plants and substations of drives to disconnectors, separators and load breakers, if they are turned on by mistake, the voltage can be applied to the earthed part of the electrical installation, as well as to switches and buttons for remote control of them.
Safety signs serve to warn of the danger of electric shock (Caution! Electric voltage). The safety sign is continuously reinforced in electrical installations with voltages up to and above 1000 V at power stations and substations, on supports of overhead lines with voltages above 1000 V (sign with a yellow background) or on reinforced concrete supports of overhead lines (sign with a background in the form on a concrete surface). In the electrical installations of power plants and substations, the sign is reinforced on the outside of the entrance doors of the switchgear, except for the doors of the switchgear and transformer substations located in these devices; external doors of switches and transformers chambers; fences of live parts located in production premises; panel doors and units with a voltage of up to 1000 V.
On the supports of the overhead line, the sign is reinforced (on metal and wood) or placed (on reinforced concrete) in a populated place at a height of 2.5 - 3 m from the ground with distances less than 100 m - by a support, and with distances over 100 m and at crossings over roads — on each support. When crossing roads, the signs must face the road, and in other cases they are located on the side of the support alternately on the right and left sides.
Posters and signs It is recommended that they be made of electrical insulating materials (textolite, getinax, polystyrene, etc.). Metal placards are permitted for exposed electrical installations. In electrical installations with large-sized equipment, it is allowed to increase the dimensions of the placards in a ratio of 2: 1, 4: 1 and 6: 1 compared to the dimensions given in the text.
