Application of automated systems for commercial electricity metering
The increase in the cost of energy resources has led today to the need to keep accurate records of electricity consumption. It can be adjusted using a specialized automated system. It provides collection of energy consumption readings, their systematization, operational analysis, reporting and storage. Reports are sent automatically to the energy company that sells the electricity.
Based on the analysis of the current consumption, certain actions can be carried out that optimize it: redistribution of electric flows, suspension of consumers exceeding the standard consumption. ASKUE can be used for an industrial plant, an office center, a residential building — any energy-intensive facility.
The design of ASKUE takes into account the structure of the object and the purpose of creation. At the first stage of project development, a survey of the site is carried out.Based on its analysis, a technical specification is drawn up, for the implementation of which a project is developed. After his consent and approval by the customer, the system installation, adjustment and metrological tests are carried out.
The system has several levels. The lower one measures current indicators, converting them into digital signals for computer processing. Its mandatory component is the electricity meters, which today, instead of induction, are widely used electronic devices. They are installed on equipment that consumes electricity. The meters of the switchgear are included in the system.
The second level is formed by devices that perform a connecting function: collection of accounting data and their transfer. This can be done by cable using a GSM cellular signal, over a dedicated radio channel.
The third level collects incoming data and processes it using computers with special software.
As a result of the introduction of ASKUE, it becomes possible to obtain data on the consumption of electricity at any time, which makes it possible to establish its rational use. In addition, payment can be regulated with different rates, overspending, organization of multi-level systems. The ability to quickly obtain measurement data prevents electricity theft.
