Inspections and tests during the operation of the lighting network in enterprises

Periodic examination and prevention of equipment and apparatus of the lighting installation create all the conditions for reliable operation of the lighting network and the safety of the personnel.

When inspecting and checking the lighting network, you should check:

The integrity of shields, lamps and diffusers for them, switches, switches, sockets, fuses, cartridges and their correctness installations:

a)lighting panelsinstalled at an accessible height, must be in enclosures with lockable doors,

b) protective covers knife keys must satisfy safety requirements,

c) switches, sockets and fuses must have whole covers,

c) the cartridges in the lamps, and the current-conducting and fixing parts in the cartridges must be firmly fixed, the phase wire is connected to the contact at the bottom of the cartridge, and the phase wire is connected to the thread of the cartridge neutral wire,

f) the lighting fixtures must have continuous diffusers and reflectors, the wires leading to the lighting fixtures must be fixed.

Reliability and cleanliness of the contacts of shields, switches, switches, sockets, fuses and ground networks... The contacts must be tight and not overheated. Burnt contacts must be cleaned or replaced with new ones.

Condition of branches and insulation of wires:

a) junction boxes must have covers,

b) reliable network contacts must be provided,

c) the wires of portable lamps and transformers must be protected from mechanical damage.

Correctness of the emergency lighting network.

It is necessary to carefully check the operational readiness of all network elements. All bodies emergency lighting they must be in good working order, equipped with lamps of the required power and have distinctive signs.

Correct operation of the emergency light switch... The correctness of the switching of the machine is checked when the AC supply line is disconnected from the switch.

Compliance with the power of the lamps installed in the lighting fixtures, project... The power of the lamps must correspond to the design to ensure the standards for lighting premises and workplaces.

The electrician on duty must have drawings or lists of items showing the wattage of the lamp according to the project or a calculation that takes into account the required lighting standards.

The value of the insulation resistance of the network... The insulation resistance of the lighting network in the area between two adjacent fuses or other protective devices, or behind the last fuse or other protective device, between each wire and earth, as well as between any two wires, must be at least 500 kOhm.

At insulation resistance measurement it is necessary to unscrew the lamps and remove the fuses, and the contacts, switches and group screens must be connected to the mains.

The illuminance values ​​in all stores and in the main workplaces should not be smaller than normalized values.

All the results of the inspections and inspections of the lighting network are recorded in acts signed by the persons who performed the inspection. The acts are approved by the chief engineer of the enterprise.
