Organization of work on repair of electrical equipment in electrical installations
In all operating electrical installations, current and basic repairs of all equipment elements are periodically carried out. Periodic preventive maintenance can greatly extend the service life of equipment and quickly detect and eliminate deviations from the normal operation of electrical equipment. The main task of electricity supply companies is the correct organization of the safe performance of work in electrical installations. Briefly consider the procedure for repairing electrical equipment.
The engineering and technical staff of the enterprise prepares schedules for the repair of equipment. These schedules are agreed with the senior management, the possibility of carrying out these works is determined in accordance with the material capabilities of the enterprise.
Applications are submitted in accordance with approved schedules for repairs in substation electrical installations. The requests, in turn, must be agreed with the responsible persons of the user enterprises. In this case, the possibility of disconnection, the time of operation, as well as the time of emergency recovery are determined. Emergency power restoration time means the time required for the operating personnel of the electrical installation to turn on the equipment taken out for repair.
In case of approval of the application, additional organization of the work is carried out. At the substation where the planned equipment repairs will take place, service personnel prepare the necessary switching forms. Prior to directly performing an operational switchover, the switchover forms are further checked by senior operational staff as well as the officer overseeing the switchover process.
In advance, as a rule, a day before the start of work, a reception order is issued and people responsible for the safe conduct of work are appointed.
Before removing the equipment for repair, in the user substation, the load is removed from this connection and, if necessary, the power is switched on from the backup sources.
In addition, the service personnel of the electrical installation prepares the workplace according to the permit. Workplace preparation consists of applying the safety measures provided in this kit. These are primarily operations to disconnect and ground the electrical equipment taken out for repair, including the equipment of the consumer substation, through which voltage can be supplied to the equipment on which the repair work is carried out.
In addition, the workplace preparation measures are the fence of the workplace and live parts located in the immediate vicinity that are live, the hanging of posters and safety signs, the installation of locking devices on the fences of adjacent electrical installations, on drives of switching devices.
After completion of all necessary measures for preparation of the workplace, a briefing and admission of the brigade to carry out repair work is carried out.
Current and basic repairs of equipment are carried out in accordance with technological maps, instructions, passports of equipment and other technical documentation. After carrying out the work, it is a prerequisite to check the operability of the equipment, as well as, if necessary, to carry out tests and measurements of the necessary electrical parameters.
After the work is fully completed, the service personnel of the electrical installation checks the possibility of putting the equipment into operation, removes fences, locking devices, placards and safety signs. After receiving permission from the higher operating personnel, he performs the necessary operational switches to bring the equipment into operation, that is, restores the normal mode of the substation.
