HLW asynchronous explosion-proof motors

HLW asynchronous explosion-proof motorsFor work in explosive premises of all classes and external installations with the possible formation of an explosive concentration of gases, dust with air, vapors with air, which belong to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd categories and flammability groups T1, T2, TZ, T4 versions B1T4, B2T4 and VZT4 according to PIVRE (according to PIVE versions V1G, B2G, V3G), are used to drive machines and mechanisms asynchronous three-phase motors of the VAO series with a squirrel rotor.

The form of execution of HLW engines by the nature of the installation is M100, M200, M300. A single series of asynchronous blown explosion-proof motors is designed in 10 dimensions (two lengths in each) with power from 0.27 to 100 kW. The designation of motors, for example, VAO -52-6, is deciphered as follows: B — explosion-proof, A — asynchronous, O — blown, 52 — fifth dimension of the second length, and 6 — six-pole. These motors have increased reliability due to the use of high-strength insulating materials and cement varnishes.

Along with the engines of the basic design, the VAO series has a number of modifications. For example, VAOkr multi-speed motors are used to drive freight elevators, and VAKR motors with built-in brakes are used to drive cranes.

Multi-speed motors are powered only by a 380 V network with a frequency of 50 Hz. These motors are manufactured with Class H insulation. The mounting dimensions of these motors are identical to those of the corresponding dimensions of the BAO series motors of the basic construction.

According to the mounting method, they have the following design: M101 — on legs, M201 — with shield flange, M301 — on legs and with shield flange and allow operation in horizontal and vertical directions with the free end of the shaft both down and up.

Engine VAO 2800/10000

Explosion-proof motors VAOkr have two-speed sizes 6, 8 and 9. With a duty cycle = 40% and a speed of 1000 rpm, they allow 120 starts per hour.

VAKR explosion-proof motors are designed for intermittent operation. These motors are powered by mains voltage 380/660 V. According to the installation method, VAKR motors have version M101, M301 with power up to and including 10 kW. Their mounting dimensions are identical to the mounting dimensions of VAO series motors of corresponding dimensions. The winding insulation of these motors is class B, and for size 6 - 9 motors class H.

According to the mounting method, the engines are versions M101, M101 / Ml04, M401, M402. The degree of protection of the motors against the external environment must be at least IP54.
