Underfloor heating as a means of saving energy
Fashion trends in energy saving are reflected, among other things, in housing construction. However, it should be borne in mind that energy saving measures should be foreseen at the design stage. This moment is especially important in the construction of private housing. In fact, due to the fact that the connection of new settlements with gas supply systems is not carried out, and gas prices are quite unstable, the issue of heating the home in the winter period is very acute. It is possible to switch to heating with solid fuel boilers, but nevertheless the load on the electrical networks will increase significantly. At the same time, the energy consumption of each house increases from year to year due to the increasing number of electrical helpers for the home, and if you add to this electric heaters, then the operating costs will be excessive.
Energy-saving lamps will help reduce the cost of electricity consumption, it is not for nothing that lighting represents up to 70% of standard costs, excluding heating and control systems such as "smart home". And an underfloor heating system will help you save money when heating your home with electricity. The point of such systems is that the room is not heated by local radiators. In this case, the entire floor acts as a heating surface. When you use the underfloor heating system, the heating elements are placed under the floor covering. There are usually three options: pipes through which hot water passes, an electric cable or a film with a graphite coating.
Using a pipeline for underfloor heating with hot water for the system, although it allows you to save gas by heating water to only 50 ° C, still requires a boiler. The option of using an electric cable in the underfloor heating system allows for very precise temperature control. From the point of view of energy saving, there is no other heating system equal to the infrared heating film. In addition, it has a minimum thickness that allows it to be installed under any floor covering without a special cement screed.
An important advantage of the warm floor system is its fruitful effect on the human body. Indeed, for a comfortable state of the body, the maximum temperature point should be located further from the head and closer to the feet, and in the case of using a heating film, the effect of infrared radiation is as close as possible to the natural one taken into account.
