Fluke Thermal Imagers

Fluke Thermal ImagersWhat is a thermal camera? A thermal imager is a device that allows you to measure the temperature in a non-contact way and display the measurement data of a certain area in the form of a two-dimensional visual image. The principle of operation of a thermal imager is to measure the temperature using infrared radiation. Thermal insulations are indispensable in cases where it is necessary to determine the temperature from a distance, when the object is moving and in cases where it is impossible to determine the temperature in the traditional way for safety reasons (for example, objects under voltage).

In addition, using the heat insulator to measure temperature is simple and convenient — the user sees a thermogram on the thermal imaging camera display and can immediately identify and interpret the problem. Thermal insulators, depending on the field of application, are stationary and portable. Among portable thermal imagers, Fluke's are perhaps the most popular.

The American company Fluke was founded in 1948 by John Fluke and today is the undisputed leader in the market of portable electrical measuring devices.Among the characteristics of Fluke products is the highest reliability that has earned the company its current reputation. What's more, the Fluke name has become a household name — multimeters are colloquially referred to as "flukes" in many countries. More recently, in the early 2000s, Fluke acquired Raytek, a well-known manufacturer of thermal processing equipment, and thus expanded its product line to its customers with new portable thermal imagers.

Fluke thermal insulators immediately became popular with consumers. Today, Fluke offers more than 10 models of thermal imagers with different specifications and prices to meet the needs of different customer groups. Fluke thermoisolators can be used for diagnostics of buildings, electrical installations, communications, various equipment, for monitoring technological processes in industry. In addition to the instruments themselves, Fluke offers its customers specialized Fluke SmartView software, which is designed for thermogram processing, analysis and report generation. SmartView software is included with Fluke thermoisolators.
