So let's start looking at types and types of electrical boards from the main shield, the "king" of shield boards.
Main switchboard (MSB).
The main switchboard is designed for the introduction of power lines, electricity metering and distribution of power lines for objects. The device also serves to protect against short circuit and overload in power supply networks. If we consider the hierarchy of electrical control rooms, then the main switchboard is at the highest level. The main switchboard is most often located on the territory of a transformer substation (TP), boiler rooms, production facilities.
Incoming Distribution Unit (ASU).
The device, which includes a complex of electrical automation and structures, is used for receiving the input power cable, distribution of power lines for ShE, ShK, ShchO, ASP, electricity measurement, protection of lines from overload and short circuit. Installed at the entrance to residential, public buildings, as well as in industrial premises (workshops).

Emergency Backup Entrance (ATS).
The ATS switchboard is equipped with special automation. The ATS switches power from the main source to an auxiliary (generator) in the event of a failure of the main electricity supplier. After the fault is cleared, the ATS will switch from the generator to the main line and after a few minutes the generator will be shut down. It is used in industrial, commercial, communal buildings, as well as in villas.
Floor Shield (SHE).
It is used in residential and office buildings for the distribution of electricity for 1-6 apartments. ShchE is mainly divided into three departments:
— Distribution compartment (modular automation for groups of electrical circuits).
— Accounting department (electric meters).
— Subscriber department (telephone, intercom, TV, radio, etc.).
Apartment fee (SCHK).
As a rule, it is located at the entrance to the apartment in the corridor area. The main purpose of SCC is electricity measurement, distribution of group power lines in the apartment, modular automation protects the electrical circuit from overload and short circuit. SHKs are invoiced and internally mounted, metal and plastic execution.
The board of the apartment is divided into:
— SCHKU — accounting board for apartments.
— ШТКР — board for distribution of apartments.
Lighting panels (OHS).
Lighting panels are installed in administrative, commercial and office premises, for infrequent switching on and off of automation. SCHO protects output lines from overload and short circuit.
Lighting boards are subdivided into:
— OShchV (lighting panel with switch).
— UOSCHV (built-in lighting panel with switch).

Control panel (SCHU).
ShchU serves to manage automation, which is responsible for such mechanisms as: ventilation, heating, fire alarm, etc. Parameters are adjusted manually.
