Regarding the criteria for evaluating the quality of electrical products
The correct functioning of all types of electrical installations depends on the quality of the components from which the particular object is built. When choosing materials and parts, you should pay attention to several criteria, among which price is far from the most important. All electrical products used must first of all meet the requirements of the Rules for the installation of electrical installations and other regulatory documents in force in the local and global electricity industry. Conformity must concern both technical performance and human safety.
The main criterion for selecting products is the nominal electrical voltage at which they are supposed to be used. Domestic electrical installations mainly use equipment designed for 220 or 380 volts.Modern industry produces a wide range of products, for example, high-quality connecting wire of various standard sizes and fittings, including linear, for organizing the supply of electricity with the specified voltages. Not only two- or three-core wires are produced, but also multi-core, which significantly expands the possibilities of electricians performing a power supply project.
When it comes to the construction of an internal power supply system, for example, residential premises, along with the technical characteristics, the safety indicators of electrical products for people should also be taken into account. For example, with regard to the same wires, we can say that they must be safe, not only from the point of view of the possibility of an electric shock to a person. The power wire used to install lighting must also be fireproof. Here, the choice of the necessary materials is made, guided by the nominal power of the electrical appliances, in particular the lighting. The ignitions will be completely turned off only if the light output does not exceed that allowed for a particular wire.
The choice of consumables and other components of the electrical installation is facilitated by the fact that all standards are specified in the normative and technical documentation in force in the electricity industry. If you strictly follow the rules, then the built power system will serve correctly and for a long time.
