Such connectors also have triple extrusion technology, due to which a three-layer pipe creates a certain thickness of insulation in one step, thereby significantly reducing installation time. In addition, the three-layer tube contains a conductive polymer that improves the shielding of the cable.

A conductive polymer material is used for the production of a heating element, which changes its resistance depending on the temperature of the environment and the heated object.

The Raychem heating cable is designed as a parallel circuit system. This can be schematically represented as an infinite number of variable parallel resistances. Thanks to its self-regulating properties, the heating cable is able to respond to the temperature of the heated object at any point.

An increase in the resistance of the heating element occurs when the temperature rises. And when the temperature starts to decrease, the resistance of the element decreases, hence the material passes current and heat starts to be generated.

Depending on the type of Raychem self-regulating heating cable, it is possible to maintain the temperature in the range 5-150 0From zero. The selection of the cable is based on the calculation of the heat losses of the observed object, and the type and thickness of the thermal insulation are also taken into account. Thanks to its design, the heating cable can be cut to the required lengths exactly at the installation site, which ensures high efficiency of the electric heating of the facility.

• T2Red

Presented by a self-regulating heating cable that can be used for any floor covering. A unique feature is the automatic response to changes in ambient temperature.

Warm floors equipped with such a cable are able to evenly distribute heat over the entire surface, while creating maximum comfort. It should be noted that the T2Red cable is not able to overheat the coating, which guarantees its safe use in any premises.

• T2 Blue

It is a heating cable used to arrange underfloor heating in rooms with a complex configuration, regardless of the surface. Most often, this model of cable is used in bathrooms, kitchens and other rooms that are characterized by a ceramic coating. The modern market presents two options for cables, depending on the power: 200 and 150 W / m2.
