The generator is then filled with filtered fuel of the brand specified in the diesel engine manual and clean oil. The cooling system is full of coolant. After that, the tightness of the pipeline connections and drain valves, the tightness of the clamps and the condition of the connecting hoses made of durite are checked.

The next step is to check the progress of the diesel generator fuel control mechanism and remove the protective seals under the generator ventilation grills. Now you can put in working condition and connect the batteries. Do not start without measuring the insulation resistance of the electrical circuit of the installation and its individual units.

After checking the reliability of the grounding of the power plant, open the valve of the fuel tank, the air release plug of the fine fuel filter and pump the system with a hand pump until a uniform flow of fuel without air bubbles appears from the drain pipe. The plug is then closed and the generator is started.
