Self-supporting insulated wire SIP 3 1x70
The electrical product SIP 3 1x70 is a high-voltage wire, the structural basis of which is a multi-wire wire. As a rule, product manufacturers use high-strength aluminum alloy AlMgSi as their material.
The specific strength of this alloy, measured at a material temperature of + 20 ° C, is equal to 2700 kg / m3. The purpose of the wire is the transmission and distribution of electric current in networks deployed outdoors, as well as as part of various electrical equipment.
The conductors that make up the core of the wire are tightly twisted; the conductive element has a circular cross-section and an area equal to, as follows from the product marking, 70 mm2. The conductor is characterized by a tensile strength of at least 20.6 kN and electrical resistance at a temperature of + 20 ° C, not higher than 0.493 Ohm / km.
The electrical properties of the conductive core of the wire in question make it possible to use it for the transmission of alternating current, the voltage of which varies from 10 to 35 kV, and the nominal frequency is 50 Hz.The value of the current transmitted through the wire should not exceed 310 A; for a short circuit lasting no more than a second, the current strength should not exceed 6.4 kA.
The next element included in the design of the SIP3 1×70 high-voltage conductor is the insulation of the conductive core. Its material is light-stabilized silicone cross-linked polyethylene, resistant to adverse environmental influences (in particular atmospheric precipitation, solar radiation, significant changes in relative humidity and air temperature). The diameter of the insulated core of the wire (this is the diameter of the product itself) is 14.3 mm.
The conductor in question must be operated in areas whose atmospheric air belongs to type II or III (according to the classification given in GOST 15150-69). Allowed for use on seashores, industrial sites, near salt lakes. The above-mentioned GOST determines the climate version of the wire — B, as well as product positioning categories — 1, 2 and 3.
When you start the electrical work related to the laying of the wire, you must make sure that the ambient temperature is above the -20 ° C mark; the radius of the bends that are created on the wire must be greater than 10 of its outer diameters.
During the subsequent operation of the self-supporting insulated wire 3 1×70, this value should not rise above + 50 ° C and fall below -50 ° C. With strict observance of the listed conditions, the product will serve without deterioration of its functionality at least 40 years.
